If you are dealing with anything, you have much better success if you understand where things come from, how they work, and how they run. If you are playing baseball you will fare much better if you understand the rules, how the bat is constructed, how the ball is made. Knowing these things will give you a better understanding of what baseball is and how it works. There are other side issues: understanding wind resistance while running, understanding how a spinning ball creates a vortex of air that makes it change directions. You will also need to understand how to sprint quicker and understand how your own body works to play the game with improvement.

If you can remember as a small child you would play with your friends, some would be assigned cops and others robbers and everyone would be expected to fulfill their roles. When playing house you would serve tea with no tea, no sugar, and no cream, yet lavish in the wonderful game of life.

If you can imagine playing with your friends you decided to play country rather than playing house, one person will have to be assigned president, another as a judge, and the other is the military, and so others become congresspeople. Just as when you are playing the game monopoly you are going to need credits and values to trade between each other. One person will need to be in charge of this currency and they take pieces of paper, write numbers on them and hand them out to other players. Where did these numbers come from? Where does this value come from? They come from the fact that everyone that is playing the game agrees, this is how it should be.

Some feel the value of this money should be related to precious metals or gems. How solid or stable is the value of this metal or gem? Aluminum was once the most precious metal, now it is one of the least in value per weight. Over time the availability of these stabilizers will go up and down in value, as they do the currency goes up and down, and this disrupts our economy. When a government will back their money with gold there is a governing body that decides each day how much the gold is worth. Even if the supply of gold becomes scarce they will hold the price down to keep an economy on an even keel. If the supply of gold increases they will buy up all of the access and store it away to keep the economy stable.

In this instance the money is not being backed by gold silver stones or diamonds, it is being given an artificial price by the banking institutions.

In this game the individual has the power to write on pieces of paper, and give them value solely because he received an assignment from the rest of the group giving him this job. The money that he creates comes from nowhere other than his own imagination and the imagination of the group. The purpose of the money is to merely keep score of the different activities that the individuals of the group take part in. Any time we play a game we always want to keep score. We can write the score on a piece of paper, add it up at the end of the game, or we can hang numbers on a billboard or sign to let everyone know who is observing, who is ahead and who is behind.

In society you have bankers that have created this money merely by writing a number in a book, spreadsheet, or generated computer code. We have people that own capital, farms, factories, mines, and they want to use this capital to create more income for themselves. They then hire workers to produce the products used for them. They will need money to pay these workers. They don’t use their own money because they are trying to hold onto every last dime that they can. They approach the bankers and initiate a loan so that they can pay the workers. The bankers then charge the owners interest on this loan. If a worker produces $200 worth of product, the owners want to keep 100 for themselves. Then they subtract the interest from the workers $100 and they subtract the building, machine maintenance from the workers share. By the time this is over the worker hopefully gets to keep $25. In this scenario the banker gets wealthier, the owners get wealthier, and the workers barely have enough to cover housing and food.

The owners are always trying to get a bigger share, and one way of doing this is by creating more efficient machines and factories to facilitate an increase of production. The problem with this is that it might take years to come up with faster and cheaper ways to produce the product. Once you have maximized the efficiency of your system, the only way that you can get the same product at a lower cost is to pay your workers less money for their labor.

You can do this by having your factories in another country where the cost of living is less. You can do this by opposing unions and efforts of workers to increase their wages. You can do this by bringing in temporary help, from other countries, who have no legal status and therefore work for less money.

The problem with any of these solutions is that the workers are the ones that are buying your product. If they do not have enough money to cover basic living expenses, you can lose 90% of your customer base. The lower 90% will buy most of the products and these are the people that you are hiring.  Eventually the system will collapse, you will have no money to pay the bankers, they will repossess your factories, farms and mines.

The only thing of real value are resources as in air, food, water, and shelter. On the planet we have an unlimited supply of these things. If you want more air, you must inhale, if you want more water, you will need to pee, and replace some water to replace it. If you need more food, you will have to poop and then eat a ham sandwich.

If you can imagine yourself on a desert island by yourself it will be very difficult to gather clean water, food, and keep yourself comfortable every day. If you are stranded on an island with 10 people this will become much easier, and so on with 100, 1000, or 10k people. The question is since people enjoy having a scorecard, how do we use money to make people feel that they are getting their fare share. Everybody can have enough to eat and enough shelter on this island, but if they feel someone is putting less effort and they receive the same amount, they will become upset. So it is now the job of the banker to make each of these individuals feel that they are getting the correct amount for their efforts. They also request the aid of the preachers who convince people even though they didn’t receive adequate compensation that at least they will get pie in the sky when they die.

This is like a young child whose mother told them that they can have a cookie, and they went to the cookie jar and they found it empty. Running back to mom, the crying child says, “Jimmy took all the cookies!” The mother comforts the child saying, “don’t worry I will bake some cookies next month and you will have the first pick.” So the next month after mom bakes cookies, the child runs to the jar, and only finds crumbs left. The mother says to her child “I am sorry.” “Jimmy ran in while you were mowing the lawn and took the cookies again, but at least he left you with some crumbs.”

In sports, it is also very important to be number one. If you are number one you get paid the most money. People that play sports practice, eat right, exercise, but this will not help them become successful in getting into the top tier. Players are taught to injure, hurt, or claim injury in order to lessen the power of the other team. The crowd will try to encourage one side or the other with words of encouragement or derogatory remarks to the players.

In factories, farms, offices, the same thing will happen. People gossip about coworkers, makeup lies about their personal life, or try to put a bug in the supervisor's ear about what a worthless piece of crap that another guy is. They will kiss up to the supervisor bringing them donuts and false flattery. This is quite obvious to the other workers which cause them to become angry, produce less work, and slow productivity.

For thousands and thousands of years, people normally lived in small villages. It was quite easy to keep track of all of your neighbors, your value toward them, and their value toward you. Eventually, in some areas that were close to deltas, a group would get together at times of ten thousand or more. These people were able to build large cities, arenas, temples, and elaborate housing. They all started as a village cooperating together, as time advanced, those that became wealthy wanted to distance their wealth from the poverty of the rest of the city. It wasn’t because there wasn’t enough to go around, they simply wanted to establish that they were king of the hill. The bigger this gap became, the more society collapsed.

If you can imagine a bridge going across the river that can support a large amount of weight. If the bridge is stretchable and you can move the banks further and further apart, eventually the bridge would collapse. The same thing happens to societies that use the money to establish social value. The larger the distance between the wealthy and the poor, the more it becomes in danger of collapse. A bridge requires every single strut and small structure to have an adequate amount of strength to carry its load. As in society depends on every individual to maintain their maximum strength and integrity. You may have heard “I have just been stretched to my limit.” this is the point where they will no longer have the strength to support society, family or the country.

In the story of the rider and the eightpenny horseshoe nail, the whole battle was lost because one nail had fallen out of the horseshoe. The shoe eventually fell off, the horse was no longer able to function, the rider had nowhere to go, therefore the whole battle was lost over the want or lack of an eightpenny horseshoe nail.

It's amazing how we will allow bankers who are mostly concerned about numbers, quantity, and profits to determine how money is used and distributed in society. Bankers are not known for their compassion or understanding of anthropology. We normally assign jobs of this nature to a minister or a doctor whose main job is to take care of individuals’ health.

If you came upon a homeless camp with 100 people, and they were starving to death, and you brought in 20 bags of groceries, this would make a large difference. If you brought in a 40,000 lb

Dumptruck full of food, canned goods, and produce, and dumped on them, you might kill 30 or 40 of them. Since you have no place to store the fresh food, it would be rotten in a few days. The quality of life in this homeless camp would be worse than before you inundated them with resources.

When there is a large disparity between the wealthy and the poor you can narrow this gap by producing a universal basic income to aid those who are in poverty, and the income tax for those that are extremely wealthy to keep this gap small. Some people have suggested $1000 a month. Others have said, if you have given them a thousand a month, why not a million? We have seen lottery winners that have received hundreds of millions of dollars and several years later they became broke or dead, and it was evident that the money did very little to improve their life.

Likewise, if you were to give everyone in The United States a million dollars a month, they would not know how to use this money, and it would create total chaos. No one would know the value of anything or how to use this money correctly. If a person comes in from the desert dying of thirst, you do not have them drink 2 gallons of water. They will need to be given adequate amounts at the right place to improve their circumstance.

Currently, $1000 barely will make a difference in most people’s lives. It would help many to help cover rent, extra groceries or continue to make a car payment. It would allow them some hope and any chance of getting some relief in their lives. This basic income would have to change in response to the availability of jobs, housing, and of food.

The owners or superachievers do not want this. It is comparable to on a basketball team when the less skilled players who had shoes that contain flubber (material that allows you to jump higher, run faster than others) would be upset and would say “this isn’t fair, why are they being given the advantage?” Of course, they showed up at the game with shoes that had flubber in them provided by their parents, but that is ok.

In sports, people enjoy the game much more when the skills of all of the players are much more equal. In some games, if you are a poor player, you are given a handicap that allows you to play with others of higher skill. If you are watching the game with an obvious winner, it is of less interest than if the underdog has a chance of coming out as the winner.

It is the idea of this extreme competition that is destroying the quality of life for people in the world today. We know in life humans are quite competitive. There are three ways that humans can become better than other people. The first way is to put them down, which includes gossip, sabotage, and gaslighting. The next way that we can improve ourselves is through hard work, saving our money, and self-improvement. The third way that we can become better than others is by lifting them up and improving their lives. We can teach them and work alongside them, and help them with resources that they need to improve their lives. By doing this they will look up to us, and they will feel better about themselves.

All societies in past history that have tried to promote this distancing between wealthy and poor have collapsed and gone by the wayside. It is not able to support itself unless it has the strength of the entire community.
